Even the Panhandle would benefit with a connection between Spokane and CDA. My feelings are clear and outlined at:
http://www.northend.org/content.asp?id=151Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12220305841697859924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8489822788609344584.post-72980335511415771212009-02-14T17:13:00.000-08:002009-02-14T17:13:00.000-08:00Wow, I am so glad you guys prevailed. Can't believe people who say they are working for their constituents could vote against this.dbhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09527673886975332497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8489822788609344584.post-30522768751152388262009-02-10T14:51:00.000-08:002009-02-10T14:51:00.000-08:00That tiered pay structure seems like a great plan....That tiered pay structure seems like a great plan. Thank you for looking at the long term implications of the measures and for attempting to weigh in on public health concerns as well as corporate profits.

I always marvel at people who tend to prioritize profit above quality of life - for both humans and animals. It is short-sighted at best. I liken to someone coming into my kitchen, announcing that they will begin using it as a toilet and expecting me not to mind - simply because someone promised them a hundred bucks if they did it. Would that also be acceptable?

I do realize that if the price were high enough and the offer was on the table to share in the wealth I may have to reconsider. But at what point does a person say 'No!' regardless of the potential profit?

There lies the issue, of course. How much is it worth to Idaho citizens? What's your price? It is a bit like selling your soul to the devil.

But we just keep doing it as if the smell won't eventually overwhelm us.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10619813727873677932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8489822788609344584.post-52436722998464959372008-06-08T16:10:00.000-07:002008-06-08T16:10:00.000-07:00Great to hear you stepped up to the bike challenge...Great to hear you stepped up to the bike challenge, Brian. I'm a big fan of bike commuting as well. How many things in the world are both good for you (as in waistline), good for the environment (as in carbon emissions), and good for your pocketbook (as in $4-$5 per gallon gas)? Not too many. All we need to do now is spread the word (and get more bike lanes :))

rahColinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08578475340676807579noreply@blogger.com
